Once demonstrated by LaTCh project the technical viability of producing lighter components, which are of equal or superior performance compared to metallic components, LaTCh II project now aims to reduce the number of operations required to obtain the final component (one-shot process, reducing equipment, tools, and human resources while increasing the complexity of products by integrating metal elements.


Reducing the number of operations will allow for higher cadences and much lower production costs for each component.


With the LaTCh II project, we intend to add complexity to the technical component associated with these technologies and simultaneously be able to do so at a cost-effective competitive with the stamping of the metals. The project is led by Moliporex and MCG is responsible for specifier and technology adopter.
