MCG transportation expands facilities for the production of floors for trains and buses

MCG is building a new hall to expand the infrastructure in MCG transportation, the company business unit dedicated to the development and production of floors for trains and buses.

This investment is motivated by new contracts obtained by this business unit, namely by the volume of business maintained with the Alstom – RER customer. And also by the recent award of new complex floor projects in composites, which will require a high production capacity.

With expected completion in March, this expansion of facilities has as its main objective to expand the current production area, which already includes a 350 m² composite bonding cabin (with controlled temperature and humidity). Among other processes, panel bonding is one of the most advanced technologies in major MCG transportation projects.
