MCG shows SHIP project at Intersolar Europe 2018

Intersolar Europe is the largest event dedicated to solar energy technologies and solutions, and to its industry and partners. This year’s edition is taking place in Munich, Germany, as usual, from June 20 to 22, and MCG mind for metal will be once again present at this European event for the presentation of SHIP – Solar Heat for Industrial Processes, an R&D project in the MCG solar business area.

The main objective is to show the results of the turn-key solar thermal industrial demonstrator developed by MCG and its partners in this project: KEMET Electronics Portugal, OnControl Technologies, Universidade de Évora and INEGI – Instituto de Engenharia Mecânica e Gestão Industrial. This system is designed with a modular, competitive approach which will simplify the decision-making process of small/medium size companies willing to invest in clean and renewable process heat.

With a history of 27 years of consecutive editions, Intersolar Europe brings together the best companies and solutions in the Messe München exhibition center of this German city, with exhibition stands and conferences in the areas of photovoltaic systems, solar thermal technologies and network infrastructures for the integration of equipment related to renewable energies.

In more than 55,000 square meters of exhibition space and among the more than 800 participating players, it is possible to find MCG mind for metal in hall A1, location 570.

Please note that the MCG solar business unit develops innovative technology integration solutions that work with solar thermal at medium temperature in industrial processes, guaranteeing a market approach and focusing on increasing energy efficiency in the processes in which they are applied.
