MCG at INTECH 2019: Connectivity and Industry 4.0
In its logic of continuous innovation and growth of competencies, MCG seeks to be in the events that most promote evolution in processes, equipment, and people. With that in mind, one of the most recent initiatives was the visit to INTECH 2019, a fair organized by Trumpf at its Ditzingen facilities, in Germany, and dedicated to industrial connectivity and industry 4.0 in general.
The main objective of MCG’s presence in this type of events is to have direct contact with the new trends and innovations that characterize today’s industrial environments, in this case with respect to the MCG industry business unit. A perfect opportunity to get to know new technologies and processes, evaluating with the support of specialists their possible future integration in the set of equipment and solutions we can find in the company’s production lines.
MCG was represented at INTECH 2019 by Nuno Simões, Maria João Ferreira, Luís Gonçalo and António Nogueira, all linked to the MCG industry business unit, and it was possible to clarify several issues and to request suggestions related to the resolution of technical problems and budgeting processes.
The fair was attended by more than 3,000 professionals in the sector and focused on topics such as 2D and 3D laser cutting equipment, advanced punching and bending systems, 3D printing solutions and connectivity services/software in Smart Factory environments.
