74 Years of History

MCG marks 74 years of existence in 2024: it was on March 30, 1950, that Manuel da Conceição Graça, the founder of the company, started MCG – Manuel da Conceição Graça, Lda enterprise activity, in Carregado, near Lisbon.

This was just the beginning of a long and prosperous life for one of the most prestigious Portuguese automobile components industries, which more recently extended its activity to other production areas.

In 2023 April 17th, Manuel da Conceição Graça would have turned 100 years old.

If the founder of MCG were still with us and could walk the halls of this company, he would continue to be proud of what we do.

Proud of our people and their dedication, our projects and their importance, our processes and their efficiency, our facilities/equipment, and their grandeur.

And proud of his family and how they carry on what Manuel da Conceição Graça dreamed of and accomplished.

Today, we can look at the present and past of MCG, which recently celebrated 74 years of activity, and understand that the future is on the work and well-being of all those who contribute daily to the evolution of this company.
