VDL Bus & Coach has awarded MCG transportation the development and production of the floor for its new New Gen Citea electric bus.
This new project is of particular importance to MCG. In addition to representing a constant development work between the MCG transportation engineering teams and the customer, the number of floors to be produced annually will allow for a superior optimization of operations, leading to the creation of a production line exclusively dedicated to this project.
The floor system consists of a lightweight design, compliant with all reglementary standards and requirements, thus consistent with the green trends of electrical mobility.
At a crucial time for re-industrialization in Portugal and in the European space, it is an honor for MCG to be able to work with such an important player in this sector and a project with a worldwide impact.
