On a visit to Alstom’s factories in Barcelona, Spain, MCG had the opportunity to see the assembly processes of the heated floors produced by MCG Transportation for the Coradia Stream train.
The constant communication between the customer and MCG are one of the “secrets” of the quality presented in all MCG Transportation products. So, it is crucial to understand how the floors (and other components) are installed on the trains for which they are intended.
MCG Transportation is manufacturing heated floors for the carriages and driver’s cabins of 138 trains that Alstom will supply in 2024 to CFL, the largest railway operator in Luxembourg.
MCG transportation is today one of the leading suppliers of components and systems for train interiors with the world’s largest manufacturers in this business area. Alstom is one of these major global players, with several projects in production at MCG:
- MCG Transportation guarantees one of its largest train floors manufacturing projects
- MCG Transportation teams obtain DIN 6701 Class A2 certification
- ‘MCG teams are always available for any improvement suggestions.’
- Floor made in MCG on the first TGV Alstom Avelia Horizon power car
