An unusual and very relevant technical process in the market for the production of floors for trains: MCG has developed with Itecons a test method that allows to assess and measure the level of airtightness of the floor of the cabin of a high-speed train.
It is the perfect tightness of the floor of the cabin that prevents the driver of the vehicle from feeling the effect of pressure (at the entrance) and suction (at the exit) and the corresponding sound when the train passes through a tunnel above 250km/hour.
In the images, we can see the airtight chamber cover in stainless steel in which the conditions of pressure and depression are recreated. It is in this same chamber that the complete floor for the test execution is mounted (as it will be mounted on the train).
Regarding the turnkey execution of railway projects demonstrated by the MCG transportation business unit, this technical process is another excellent example of the success of the relationships that MCG establishes with suppliers and partners in the development of innovative projects in this area.
