Project problem/motivation
The aim of this project is to highlight the technical and economic advantages of the solution that is not yet fully validated. Its implementation should result in greater energy efficiency in the industrial units where it will be installed, resulting in reduced energy bills and, therefore, embracing solar thermal technologies and other eco-efficient solutions in general, still very dependent on the quantification of this type of energy.

Consortium composition
The SHIP – Solar Heat for Industrial Processes project has MCG as the leader of a consortium also formed by the University of Évora, INEGI, and the companies OnControl and KEMET Electronics Portugal.
