MCG continues to invest in robotic systems across its factories in all business areas, with a particular focus on the MCG Automotive production units.

MCG has significantly expanded the use of robotic systems and collaborative robots at its main production unit for MCG Automotive.

This investment enhances efficiency and precision in large-scale projects, such as the development of a suspension control arm – a critical safety component for mid-to-high-range vehicles, which currently stands out as one of MCG Automotive’s main projects. In this production system, which reaches an annual volume of up to 1.4 million units, MCG has increased the number of robotic welding cells by approximately 80% since the beginning of the year, integrating advanced robotic transfer systems between workstations. Simultaneously, the capacity of the machining units in this ecosystem has been doubled, allowing the company to meet growing demand.

In addition to this specific project, MCG uses robotic systems in several other production processes and across various business areas, as we detail below.
