The IDDRG – International Deep Drawing Research Group 44th Conference took place in Lisbon from June 1st to 5th, with MCG as the main sponsor and a strong presence from the MCG Automotive business unit.
On the final day, the conference moved to the MCG facilities in Carregado, 30 km from Lisbon, for a technical visit to MCG Automotive’s factories — an opportunity to witness innovative engineering approaches and real-world manufacturing solutions.
Before that, during the first days of the event held at Instituto Superior Técnico, experts and participants from around the world attended a presentation of some of MCG’s latest advances, technologies, and projects in the field of sheet metal forming. The presentation was delivered by Carlos Saraiva, General Manager of MCG Automotive.
