The July 2026 edition of the MCG Leadership Workshop marked a historic milestone for the company, becoming the first to take place at MCG Evolab, MCG’s recently established Innovation & R&D Centre.

Held annually, the summer MCG Leadership Workshop brings together the company’s leaders to align priorities, share knowledge and strengthen leadership across the organisation.

This year’s edition added a new dimension by taking place at the very heart of MCG’s engineering and innovation ecosystem.

Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to discover the mission and capabilities of MCG Evolab, a centre created to accelerate engineering, innovation and applied research across all MCG business areas.

Today, multidisciplinary engineering teams work daily at MCG Evolab on the development of new products, technologies, materials and industrial processes.

During the workshop, the MCG Evolab team presented several ongoing projects, offering leaders a closer look at technologies and engineering solutions that are already being transferred into MCG’s industrial projects and manufacturing operations.

This direct contact with the company’s innovation ecosystem reinforces the role of leadership in supporting technological development, industrial transformation and continuous improvement.
