After four years in which the event did not take place (due to the covid-19 pandemic), MCG returned to InnoTrans 2022, the most significant transport trade fair in the world, with new products and technologies that strengthen MCG Transportation activity in the development and manufacturing of components and systems for train and bus interiors.
Between meetings with customers and partners, the MCG teams presented to all visitors to the stand a full-size replica of a train carriage section created for IRIS – Innovative Railway Interior Systems, an R&D project that takes place at MCG with the participation of several companies.
This demonstrator shows, in the context of real integration, the main technologies and products developed and manufactured by MCG in the segment of subsystems and products for train interiors:
- HVAC system ducts
- Luggage racks
- Side panels
- Roof panels
- Floors with an integrated heating system
- Partition walls
- Interactive windows
