With energy, enthusiasm, and a constant desire to evolve, Beatriz Gomes has been building her journey at MCG since her early days in the containment area to her current role as operator-coordinator in MCG Automotive’s logistics warehouses.
Today, she is proud of the path she has taken – one filled with challenges, learning, improvements, and teamwork. And she feels truly fulfilled with what she does every day.
Improving what we do
“For me, it has been rewarding to learn the processes involved in warehouse operations.
Being with people, coordinating people. And trying to introduce improvements in the processes – that’s what I enjoy most. Always trying to improve the processes we’ve had in place for a long time.
Basically, I like to feel useful, and to feel that I can help. And that I can implement improvements“.
Learning to evolve
“MCG provides growth opportunities, and I’m living proof of that.
I started at MCG on the containment team [for the production lines at the factory], and when I was selected to join the customer support team, I had never done anything like that before.
MCG gave me that opportunity to grow, to evolve – it gave me the chance to become an operator and coordinator.“.
Safety first
“It’s great to see that MCG promotes safety not just as an obligation or legal requirement, but out of genuine concern for everyone’s well-being.
It’s important to work safely because we know that when we come in, we’re safe, and when we leave, we’ve done our job safely.
And it’s good to see that MCG promotes safety and is constantly making improvements so we can work more safely.
It shows us that this is a company that truly cares about our well-being and our health.
And working in a safe environment makes us more productive“.
Good relationships
“There’s a good relationship between people from the different departments at MCG. And it’s important that we cultivate those good relationships.
We’re always able to talk openly with others, and most importantly, we’re able to ask for help when we need it.
It’s always good to trust the people around us and to make the most of these positive relationships to support one another“.
New Generations
“To those who are joining today, I’d say: always be eager to learn and grow. And it’s important to listen to those who have been here longer.
It’s important to listen, accept, and ask questions.
You need to have the drive to grow and always be willing to learn and to listen“.
